The RTZ Corporation PLC (RTZ PLC) and RTZ Canada Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of RTZ PLC, had decided to divest their 51.5% interest in the common shares of Rio Algom Limited. The decisional issue is the form of the secondary offering in a very difficult market. RTZ Canada Inc.'s investment banker has proposed an installment receipt offering.
