In the fall of 2024, Anna Arrivo began her role as the student cafe executive officer of Saxbys Coffee Inc. cafe at Temple University’s Fox School of Business location in the United States. A marketing major with a keen interest in operations, Arrivo quickly faced her first challenge: she noticed that students were leaving the cafe line due to long wait times, missing their chance to order during the brief breaks between classes.
