Trilon Financial Corp. must create improved synergy between its various business units which include Royal Trust Co. and Royal LePage Real Estate. A special project has been launched by Royal Trust to develop a PC-based information system to support Royal LePage sales agents and staff. Royal Trust hopes that the system (termed the Home Sale Distribution System) will eventually provide a distribution channel for its financial services and other units within Trilon - an electronic highway for tying the units together and cross-selling each other's products and services. However, the new system must first be adopted and implemented into the Royal LePage organization before any of the future benefits can be obtained.
